Dear Applicant,
Thank you for expressing interest in our Machal Program.
Machal provides a Torah-growth experience that focuses on personal commitment to a Torah life, through in-depth Torah Study and the opportunity for guided mentoring from Machal’s superb staff.
Here are a few important pieces of information we'd like you to know:
Michlalah representatives will be traveling in the U.S., Canada and England conducting interviews from the middle of December. The application must be submitted by the deadline of Sunday, December 1, 2024.
We strongly suggest that you check with your principal, guidance counselor or with us as early as possible regarding the date Michlalah is scheduled to interview at your school or at the location closest to you. Zoom interviews are available only when an in - person interview isn't an option. The interview schedule will be posted by mid - November on the Machal website at www.machal.michlalah.edu.
It is to your advantage to submit a complete application at once. However, if you are missing a form or two, i.e. medical form and / or recommendation, you should send any material you have available and submit the remaining forms before the deadline. No applicant will receive an answer of acceptance unless her file is complete.
The Michlalah entrance exam will be given internationally on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The tuition fee for the 2025-2026 academic year is $27,500 -.
The tuition includes: library fees, field trips, school shabbatonim, dormitory fees, and a main meal on school days and all Shabbat meals (if you remain on campus). Further information pertaining to loans and scholarships will be sent to you upon your acceptance to Michlalah.
Please visit the ‘Machal 5785’ page of our website for current flyers and programming updates.
We are looking forward to reviewing your application.
Cordially yours,
Dr. Devorah Rosenwasser
